Things read, things heard, for those who (still) make and look at posters. This book takes as its starting with the question “What is a good poster?” and then gradually drifts away from it as it unfolds, confronted with the complexity of this question that pertains to the truth, accuracy, functionality or even the good taste of a graphic work. The text is the result of a series of interviews conducted at le Signe by Léo Carbonnet and Léonore Conte during a two-month residency (Culture Moves Europe); it can be read as a long sentence, a dialogue, or a quieter list of principles. Published in 2025 by Tombolo Presses in partnership with Le Signe, centre national du graphisme, 110 × 161 mm, bilingual edition (English / French), 104 pp. + inserts (ill.). Available at Tombolo Presses, distributed at les presses du réel. [Texte en français ↓]

In October 2025, it was enhanced during a workshop with visual documentation extracted from le Signe’s poster collection, selected, and presented as visual inserts by the students of the DSAA in Graphic Design and Mediation at the Lycée Charles-de-Gaulle in Chaumont (Manon Faroult, Lili-Rose Frosio, Liana Kwok Hiu Fung, Léna Labiau, Maya Milesi, Marjorie Perraud, Lauriane Reghem, Athénaïs Roche, Clara Segura and Sarah Wild).

Silence, Art direction and editorial design (since 2025), 210 × 297 mm, 48 pp. Published since 1982, Silence carries a project for the transformation of society towards degrowth and social ecology. The magazine explores concrete alternatives and aims to address every topic not only from an ecological and degrowth perspective but also in terms of feminism, post-colonialism, and non-violence. Its print run is adjusted each month according to demand. Without advertising, the magazine also chooses not to be sold in newsstands to avoid significant paper waste due to unsold copies. Artistes typographes, Tombolo Presses, cdla, 143 × 205 mm, 274 pp., 2024. Artists as typographers is a visual corpus that brings together one hundred and thirty-two artists’ books collected and reproduced as part of an artistic residency conducted at the Centre des livres d’artistes (Saint-Yrieix-la-Perche). This compilation of images demonstrate the interest of some figures of the art field for the substances of the book object. They show singular compositions and other typographic details: handwritten letters, character designs, stamps, logotypes. In collaboration with Léonore Conte, available at Tombolo Presses, les presses du réel. [Texte en français ↓]
